Guidelines for Filling up the vacancies of Teaching faculty in DIETs:

A.Procedure for submission of application through online:

The applications will be received from the eligible candidates through online. A Google form will be circulated to apply, and the same needs to be submitted to the concerned DIET Principal. The examination center’s will be constituted and eligible candidates will be informed through the District Educational Officers concerned. D. Eligible candidates and Qualifications for the selection of Posts in DIETs:

The posts of Senior Lecturers/Lecturers in the DIETs are filled as per the NCTE norms only. Any deviations in the matter should be viewed seriously, and necessary action will be initiated as per the rules in the force.
The criteria for screening applicants under each position are based on the Eligibility conditions and qualifications as mentioned below.

1. The age of the applicant shall not exceed 58 years as on 31.03.2025.
2. School Assistants/Headmasters/ Mandal Educational Officers working in Govt / Zilla Parishad/ Municipal managements having a minimum of 5 years of service in the School Assistant cadre are eligible for the position of Lecturers.
3. Headmaster’s/ Mandal Educational Officers working in the Govt / Zilla Parishad/ Municipal managements are eligible for the position of Sr. Lecturers. In case the above candidates are not available, Sr. Lecturer post will be filled with the School Assistant cadre.
4. The applicant should possess the required qualifications as per the post ESE02-11021/53/2025-SCERT I/4027633/2025 (NCTE norms) i.e. Master’s degree in the subject concerned with 55% and M.Ed. with 55% of marks.

E. The Pattern of test:

• The test will be conducted in four sessions, each corresponding to a different category of vacant positions.
• Applicants can apply for any number of positions for which they are eligible, but are only allowed to participate in the tests for these four sessions.
• If an applicant is eligible for two positions that share the same testing
  session, they must choose to take only one of the tests. For example, if X is eligible for both Mathematics and Physical Science, which are scheduled for the same session, X must select only one test to take: either Mathematics or Physical Science.
• The five sessions of the test are as follows

Note:

1. Sr. Lecturer in Teacher Education will be selected from the common merit of Tests – 10 and 11.
2. Sr. Lecturer in EVS will be selected from the common merit of tests -7, 8 and 9.
3. Sr. Lecturer in Sciences and Lecturer in EVS (Sciences) will be selected from the common merit of tests -7 and 8.

School Assistants/Headmasters/Mandal Educational Officers who are working in Govt/Zilla Parishad/Municipal managements in the erstwhile districts are eligible to apply for the vacant post of Senior Lecturers /Lecturers in the concerned erstwhile district DIETs.

1. Secondary Grade Teacher/ Language Pandits Grade-II are not eligible for deputation to work as faculty in the DIETs under any circumstances.
2. The District Educational officers should submit the selected list to the CSE, A.P., for approval.
3. The selected teachers shall work on deputation under foreign service terms and conditions initially for a period of one year in terms of G.O(P) No. 10, Finance and Planning Dept., dt: 22.01.1993.
4. The selected teachers shall continue to work on deputation for a period of one year or till the vacant posts are filled by direct recruitment, whichever is earlier.
5. The applicant can apply for more than one post as per his/her qualifications in one application.
6. The applicant should submit his/her application along with copies of their credentials.
7. Applicants who have disciplinary or criminal cases against them are not eligible for this purpose.
8. Candidates currently working in the DIETs on deputation under FSTC are ineligible to apply again if they have either completed three years of service or have not completed three years of service in DIETs in terms of Rule 5, sub-rule (iv) of G.O. Ms. No.2, Finance(FR.II) Dept., dt: 02.01.2010.
9. The applicant shall apply through the proper channel as detailed.
   i. School Assistants working shall apply through the Headmasters or MEOs concerned.
   ii. Headmaster’s/Mandal Educational Officers working shall apply through the DY.E.O concerned.
10. Relaxation given to the eligible candidates with respect to service and qualification for filling up of the Urdu lecturer posts by way of deputations from eligible School Assistants/Headmaster’s/ Mandal Educational Officers DIETs (i.e., 3 years of service instead of 5 years and P.G with B.Ed. instead of P.G with M.Ed. qualifications) keeping in view of the problems of trainees of Urdu section in respective DIETs.
11. The School Assistants/Headmaster’s/Mandal Educational Officers who are working on deputation should be repatriated at any time without any notice if it found any discrepancy or indiscipline. Online Application for DIET faculty Vacancies:
