ఒప్పంద ప్రాతిపదికన పని చేస్తున్న ప్రత్యేక టీచర్లకు పేస్కేల్ అర్హతలపై స్క్రీనింగ్ కమిటీ:
సుప్రీం కోర్టు తీర్పు మేరకు ఒప్పంద ప్రాతిపదికన పని చేస్తున్న ప్రత్యేక టీచర్లకు పే స్కేల్ ఇచ్చేందుకు అర్హతల పరిశీలనకు స్క్రీనింగ్ కమిటీని ఏర్పాటు చేస్తూ ప్రభుత్వం ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసింది. ఈ కమిటీలో పాఠశాల విద్యాశాఖ కార్యదర్శి, విభిన్న ప్రతిభా వంతుల విభాగం కమిషనర్, ఆర్సీఐ కార్యదర్శి ఉన్నారు.

ORDER :
1. In the circumstances reported by the Director of School Education in the reference 5th read above, Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby constitute the Screening Committee comprising the following members, for screening the eligibility of the already working Contractual Special Teachers, for providing pay scales as per the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in W.P.(C) No. 132/2016:-
- Secretary to Government, School Education Department.
- State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Andhra Pradesh
- Sri Vikas Trivedi, Member Secretary, Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
In terms of the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the Screening Committee shall examine the case of each of the candidates who have been working on contract/daily wage basis to teach the Children with Special Needs (CwSN) and those teachers who have been found to be competent/eligible and qualified to teach, shall be given the pay scale of special teacher. The past experience of these teachers shall also be kept in mind. However, the mandatory requirement for each of the candidates would be RCI qualification.
2. Further, in case of a person who was already working and teaching for the last many years, the Screening Committee is also authorized to consider relaxation of the age limit in appropriate cases.
3. The Director of School Education and the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, shall take further necessary action in the matter, accordingly.
