Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET):

The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada will conduct “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)” for the candidates seeking admission in to all Diploma Courses in Engineering/Non Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics / Institution (Including Aided and unaided private polytechnics / Institutions running as 2nd shift in Pvt. Engineering colleges) in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2025-26 (Polytechnic Common Entrance Test POLYCET Model Papers)

POLYCET Examination Pattern:

• Offline Test will be entirely of objective type, consists of 120 questions with a choice of Four responses for each question with only one correct response.
• 50 Questions in Mathematics, 40 Questions in Physics & 30 Questions in Chemistry
• Each question carries one mark and no negative marking for wrong answer.
• Examination will be of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration consists of only one Question paper as per the syllabus prescribed for SSC examination March 2025.
• Candidates shall have to mark answers on Optical Mark Reader (OMR) response sheet.
• Questions are framed to test the ability of the candidate in recall / application / analysis & synthesis.
