The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada will conduct “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)” for the candidates seeking admission in to all Diploma Courses in Engineering/Non Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics / Institution (Including Aided and unaided private polytechnics / Institutions running as 2nd Year in Pvt. Engineering colleges) in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2026-27 (POLYCET Polytechnic Common Entrance Test 2026 Notification)
HIGHLIGHTS OF POLYCET-2026
- Date of Examination: 25
- Offline Test will be entirely of objective type, consists of 120 questions with a choice of Four responses for each question with only one correct response (50 Questions in Mathematics, 40 Questions in Physics & 30 Questions in Chemistry)
- Each question carries one mark and no negative marking for wrong answer.
- Examination will be of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration consists of only one Question paper as per the syllabus prescribed for SSC examination March 2026.
- Candidates shall have to mark answers on Optical Mark Reader (OMR) response sheet.
- Questions are framed to test the ability of the candidate in recall / application / analysis & synthesis.
- Eligibility Criteria: A candidate shall have to pass / appear for SSC Board of examination or its equivalent.
- There is no age limit to appear for POLYCET 2026 examination.
