Engagement of Apprentices in NHPC: NHPC Limited, a Navratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, is inviting online applications from promising, energetic, and bright candidates for a one-year apprenticeship training program. NHPC will engage a total of 361 Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprentices for its Corporate Office in Faridabad and various other locations.” (NHPC Apprentices Jobs Notification)

Important dates:
- Opening of NHPC website for online Submission by candidates: 11.07.2025 (10.00 AM)
- Last date for Submission of online application by candidates: 11.08.2025 (05.00 PM)
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who possess educational qualifications as mentioned above and are medically fit as per the provisions of the Apprentice Act, 1961 are eligible to apply. Candidates awaiting the results of the qualifying examination at the time of application or those who have already undergone apprenticeship training of 01 year or more are not eligible to apply.
Duration of Training:
The duration of training will be 01 year but may be extended up to 02 years as per the provisions of Apprentice Act, 1961 and Rules made thereunder.
Place of Training:
The place of training will be at respective NHPC locations (Project/Power Station/ Unit) as per the notification.
Selection Process:
There will be no interview. The eligible candidates will be selected as per merit drawn based on following criteria:

| Graduate Apprentice | 20% to 10th Class | 20% to 12th/Diploma (whichever is higher, in case of both) | 60% to aggregate in Engineering / Graduation/ PG (whichever is applicable) in relevant subject | 100 |
| Diploma Technician | 30% to 10th Class | 70% to Diploma in Engineering | 100 | |
| ITI Technician | 30% to 10th Class | 70% to ITI in concerned Trade | 100 | |
Application Process :
Step-1: Interested candidates should first REGISTER themselves (as a candidate/student) on the following website and complete/update their profile by uploading all the required documents:
- For ITI trades : NAPS at https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- For Graduate/Degree/ Diploma Trades: NATS at https://nats.education.gov.in.
Step-2: After getting the NAPS/NATS registration/enrolment number, candidates should correspondingly apply on the NHPC website : Go to www.nhpcindia.com > Career Section > Engagement of Apprentice > Apply Now
Note: Application must be submitted online through NHPC official website only. Applications made through any other mode will not be accepted.
Required Documents online application:
- Copy of completed Apprenticeship Registration/Enrolment Form done at NATS/ NAPS portal.
- Scanned copies of educational certificates and mark sheets (clear and legible).
- Proof of Age (Matriculation Certificate).
- SC/ ST/ latest OBC(NCL) Caste certificate as per Govt of India formats (as applicable)
- Recent colour passport-sized photograph and signature.
