Educational Qualifications details
1.School Medical Officer
Essential: MBBS Degree Desirable, Two years of clinical experience
2.PGT (Computer Science)
Essential: 1. B.E/ B.Tech- Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communications or Equivalent. (OR) MCA/ M.Sc./ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Masters in IT or Equivalent. (OR) M.Sc. (Mathematics) and B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or Equivalent. (OR) Post Graduate degree in Mathematics or Physics or Statistics and 3 Year Diploma in Computer Engineering/ IT from an institution recognized by the AICTE/University. (OR) Post Graduate degree in Mathematics or Physics or Statistics and at least Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from an institution recognized by the AICTE/University or equivalent. (OR) B’ level from DOEACC
AND
2. Graduate with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from NCTE recognized institute.
Desirable: (i) Higher percentage of marks in higher qualification and experience of working in English Medium Residential Schools. (ii) Achievements in NCC/Sports / Co & extracurricular activities etc.
3.PGT (Mathematics)
Essential {either of (a) and (b)}: (a) Two Year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics with at least 50% marks in aggregate. (OR) (b) Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognised university.
Desirable: (i) Teaching experience of two years as PGT (Mathematics) in CBSE affiliated English Medium Schools, preferably residential. (ii) Higher qualifications. Achievements in NCC/Sports /Extra- curricular Activities, etc. (Kalikiri Sainik School Academic Admin Staff recruitment)
4.TGT (Social Science)
Essential: (A) Four years integrated degree course B.A,B.Ed Social Sciences of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognised institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject.
(i) The candidate should have studied any two subjects out of the following:
- History with at least 50% marks in aggregate and one subject out of Geography/Economics/ Political Science. OR
- Geography with at least 50% marks in aggregate with History/ Economics/Political Science.
(ii) Geography/History should have been studied in all the year of graduation with at least 50% marks.
(iii) In case of Hons Degree in History, the candidate should have studied Geography/ Economics/Political Science in first and / or second year of graduation with at least 50% marks in aggregate at graduation level. Similarly, in case of Geography “Hons” Degree the candidate should have studied
History/Economics/Political Science, in first and/or second year of graduation with at least 50% marks in Geography (Hons) and also 50% marks in aggregate at graduation level.
AND
(B)Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (TTET/STET/ APTET/CTET) conducted by appropriate govt authority in accordance with the guidelines
framed by the NCTE, for the purpose.
(C) B.Ed. Degree* *Note: B.Ed. degree not applicable for 04 years integrated degree course as mentioned in sub clause (A) above.
Desirable: (i) Teaching experience of two years in CBSE affiliated English Medium Schools, preferably residential.
(ii) Higher qualification.
(iii) Achievements in NCC/Sports/Extra-curricular Activities, etc.
5.PTI-cum-Matron (Female)
Essential: Bachelor of Physical Education degree (B.P.Ed) from a recognized institution with 50% marks.
Desirable: (a) Working experience in residential schools as a Physical Education teacher. (b) Ability to teach in English medium (c) Participation in State/ National level sports events. (d) Should take care of cadets like a foster mother and discharge other duties & responsibilities as per the guidelines of the school.
6.Counsellor
Essential : MA (Psychology)/ MSc (Psychology)/ Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology/ MA in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university.
(OR) Masters in Child Development/ Social Work with 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Guidance from a recognized institute or University.
Desirable: i) One-year experience in providing counselling. ii) Persons with adequate training in Psychotherapy, Psychometric assessment and experience of working in residential schools. iii) Add-on courses/training in areas like cognitive behaviour therapy skills, Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder (ADHD) behavioural issues and learning difficulties, building emotional intelligence and resilience, Adolescence Education from recognized institutes. iv) Knowledge of the local language. Basic Knowledge of computer operation.
7.Horse Riding Instructor
Essential: (i) Intermediate (ii) Experience as Horse Riding Instructor in a School / Horse Riding Club.
Desirable: Higher Qualification / Risaldar course qualified.

- Demand Draft for Rs. 500/- for General/OBC NCL Category and Rs.250/- for SC/ST Category as application fee (Non-refundable) drawn in favour of Principal Sainik School Kalikiri payable at State Bank of India, Kalikiri Branch (Code: 016427) also to be forwarded with the application. The fee once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor would this fee be held in reserve for future examination/selection.
- Filled in application form along with the Demand Draft, self-addressed envelope, self-attested copies of certificates are to be forwarded by registered post/speed post to “The Principal, Sainik
School Kalikiri, Annamayya Dist, Andhra Pradesh PIN: 517234”. Last date for receiving duly filled in applications is 10 Jan 2025. Super-scribe the envelope with the name of the post applied for. Qualification and experience without relevant certificate proof will not be taken into consideration for the purpose of shortlisting or for awarding weightage.
