About INSPIRE-MANAK
The INSPIRE-MANAK program, run by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) and the National Innovation Foundation (NIF) in India, encourages students in classes 6 to 12 to come up with creative ideas. The goal is to inspire one million new ideas or inventions based on science that can help society. Schools can submit up to five of their students’ best original ideas through a website. Out of these, a maximum of two ideas can be from students in classes 11 or 12 (science stream only). (INSPIRE-MANAK 2025-26 Nominations)
This scheme is being operationalised as per the following steps:
- Awareness and capacity building of District, State and School level functionaries across the country through regional workshops, audio-visual tools and literature.
- Organising internal idea competitions in schools and nominations of five best original ideas, in any Indian language, by the respective Principal/Headmaster online through E-MIAS (E-Management of INSPIRE MANAK Scheme) portal. The schools should register themselves on E-MIAS portal.Shortlisting of top 1,00,000 (one lakh) ideas, with potential to address societal needs through Science & Technology by NIF.
- Disbursement of INSPIRE Award of INR 10,000 into the bank accounts of short-listed students through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme.
- Organisation of District Level Exhibition and Project Competition (DLEPC) by District/State authorities and shortlisting of 10,000 best ideas/innovations for State Level Exhibition and Project Competitions (SLEPC).
- Organisation of State Level Exhibition & Project Competition (SLEPC) for further shortlisting of top 1,000 ideas/innovations for the National Level Exhibition and Project Competition (NLEPC). At this stage, NIF will provide mentoring support to students for development of prototypes, in coordination with reputed academic and technology institutions of the country.
- Selection of ideas/innovations will be based on novelty, social applicability, environment friendliness, user friendliness and comparative advantage over the existing similar technologies.
- Showcasing 1,000 best ideas/innovations at the National Level Exhibition & Project Competition (NLEPC) and shortlisting of top 60 innovations for national awards and future direction.
- Consideration of top 60 ideas/innovations by NIF for product/process development and their linkage with other schemes of NIF/DST and their display at the Annual Festival of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (FINE).
- Last date to submit nominations 15th September, 2025
విద్యార్థుల నామినేషన్స్ నమోదు చేయు విధానము:
www.inspireawards-dst.gov.in వెబ్ సైట్ లో login అయి ప్రతి స్కూల్ నుండి 5గురు విద్యార్థులను ఎంపిక చేసి నమోదు చేయవలెను.
కావలసిన వివరాలు:
విద్యార్థి పేరు, తండ్రి పేరు, పుట్టిన తేది, ఆధార్ నంబర్, విద్యార్థి బ్యాంకు ఎకౌంట్ వివరాలు, పాస్ పోర్ట్ సైజ్ ఫొటో మరియు ప్రాజెక్ట్ write-up మొదలగు సమాచారం అప్లోడ్ చేసి nominations D.A (District Authority) కి forward చేయవలెను. Acknowledgement print తీసి ఉంచుకోవలెను.
నామినేషన్స్ చేసే సమయంలో ముఖ్యంగా గుర్తుంచుకోవాల్సిన విషయాలు :
- NIF-New Delhi వారు ప్రాజెక్ట్ సెలెక్ట్ చేసేది కేవలం మనం అప్లోడ్ చేసే Write-up చదివి మాత్రమే. కావున మన write-up లో ఆకర్షణీయమైన టైటిల్, project ఉద్దేశ్యం, అవసరమైన పరికరాలు, ప్రాధాన్యత, సామాజిక హితం, డెవలప్ చేయడానికి షుమారుగా అవసరమయ్యే ఖర్చు మొదలైన విషయాలు స్పష్టంగా ఉండాలి.
- ప్రాజెక్ట్లు సృజనాత్మకంగా, నూతనత్వంతో కూడి, తక్కువఖర్చుతో ఎక్కువ ప్రయోజనం కల్గివుండి, పర్యావరణ హితంగా ఉండే విధంగా ఉపాధ్యాయులు విద్యార్థులకు ప్రాజెక్టుల రూపకల్పనలో మార్గనిర్ధేశం చేయాలి.
- అప్లోడ్ చేసే విద్యార్థి అకౌంట్/విద్యార్థి-పేరెంట్ జాయింట్ అకౌంట్ నెంబర్, IFSC కోడ్ జాగ్రత్తగా చెక్ చేసుకోవలెను. అప్ లోడ్ చేసే విద్యార్థి పేరు ఆధార్ మరియు అకౌంట్ బుక్లో ఒకే విధంగా ఉండాలి.
