IIMs Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 Notification

The Indian Institutes of Management will conduct a computer-based Common Admission Test 2025 (CAT 2025) on November 30, 2025 in three sessions. Detailed information on CAT 2025 may be obtained from the CAT website.
CAT 2025 is a prerequisite for admission to various Post Graduate and Fellow/ Doctorate programmes of IIMs. CAT 2025 scores are allowed to be used by listed non-IIM member institutions. A list of such institutions is provided on the CAT website. IIMs he no role in the selection process of non-IIM institutions.
CAT 2025 ELIGIBILITY
Please refer to the detailed notification on the CAT website. Applicants should note that mere fulfillment of the minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for shortlisting by IIMs.
RESERVATIONS
Refer to the CAT website for information regarding reservation of seats for various categories of applicants. No change in the category will be entertained after CAT registration.
REGISTRATION FEES
- 2600 for all other categories of candidates.
- 1300 for SC, ST and PwD category candidates.
Please note that a candidate needs to pay the registration fees only once, irrespective of the number of institutes he/she is applying for. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
IMPORTANT DATES
- Registration opens : August 01, 2025 (10:00 am)
- Registration closes : September 13, 2025 (5:00 pm)
- Admit card download : November 05-November 30, 2025
- Test date: November 30, 2025
- Result declaration: First week of January, 2026 (Tentative)
TEST CENTRES
CAT will be conducted in test centres spread across around 170 test cities. Candidates will be given the option to select any five test cities in order of their preference. The list of cities may be subject to changes based on the discretion of the CAT authorities.
