RECRUITMENT OF INSURANCE MEDICAL OFFICERS GRADE-II (IMO Gr.-II) IN ESI CORPORATION
(THROUGH DISCLOSURE LISTS OF COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES EXAMINATION – 2022 & 2023 CONDUCTED BY UNION PUBLIC
SERVICE COMMISSION)

Online Applications (through website of ESIC at www.esic.gov.in) are invited from the candidates of Disclosure Lists of Combined Medical Service Examination (CMSE)-2022 and Combined Medical Service Examination (CMSE)-2023 conducted by UPSC, for filling up the post of Insurance Medical Officer Grade-II (IMO Gr.-II) in ESIC Hospitals/Dispensaries as under: (ESIC Insurance Medical Officers Grade-II Recruitment Notification)

A. The details of the posts and eligibility criteria are as under:

Scale of Pay:

Level-10 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100 to 1,77,500) plus non-practicing allowance as admissible to analogous post in the Central Government.
In addition to Pay they will also be eligible for DA, NPA, HRA and Transport Allowance as per rules of Govt. of India in force from time to time.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. A recognised MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub- section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
2. Completion of Compulsory rotating internship. Candidates who may not have completed rotating internships shall be eligible to apply provided that, if selected, they shall have satisfactorily completed the compulsory internship before appointment.

SELECTION PROCESS

(a) Based on the Disclosure Lists of CMSE 2022 and CMSE 2023 respectively, a communication is being sent to the candidates, inviting applications, on the given mail id, on the communication address given thereon. For convenience of the applicants, the Disclosure Lists are available at along with this notification.
(b) Based on the applications received, a merit list will be prepared based on the marks of the respective candidates shown in the Disclosure List CMSE-22 & CMSE-23 conducted by UPSC.
(c) The year wise select list will be published on ESIC website.
(d) The Candidates selected from the Disclosure List of CMSE-22 will be placed senior to those selected from Disclosure List of CMSE-23.
(e) Relaxation in age limit for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Serviceman shall be as per DOPT OM no. 15012/2/2010-Estt(D) dated 27.3.2012.
(f) Applicants who are claiming under EWS shall be covered by O.M. no. 36039/1/2019-Estt. (Res.) dated 19.01.2019 and 31.01.2019 of DOPT.
(g) Applicants who are claiming PwBD shall be covered by Section 33 and 34 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Candidates must apply online through the website www.esic.gov.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected. To apply online visit the website www.esic.gov.in, enter ESIC Home Page>Recruitment>Apply online for Recruitment to the post of IMO Gr. II in ESIC- 2024.
  2. Detailed Instructions for filling online application will be available on the website. Candidate should read the instructions carefully before making any entry or selecting options.
  3. After submitting the online application, the candidates are required to take print out of the finally submitted online application and retain the same with them.
  4. Candidates are not required to submit to ESIC either by post or by hand the printouts of their online applications or any other document. They will be required to submit printout of online application along with documents in support of their eligibility etc. as & when required by the ESIC.
  5. The candidates are advised to submit only single online application.
  6. Application once submitted cannot be modified, hence utmost care should be taken to furnish the correct details before submitting the online application.
  7. Information submitted by the candidate in the online application will be treated as final and no request for change will be entertained.
  8. Candidates are required to keep active their Email-ID and Mobile Number registered in online application during the currency of this recruitment process. ESIC will send all communications only at the registered email ID/Mobile number of candidate/communication address given in online application. Hence the candidates should provide active email ID only.
  9. Candidate should scan their photograph and signatures, between 50-100 KB in JPG/JPEG format and as applicable, their caste certificate, PWD Certificate, Ex Servicemen status (between 50-100 KB in PDF format), certificates regarding educational qualifications (Max. 100 KB in PDF/PNG/JPG format) and document in support of UPSC Roll No. and final marks for CMSE-2022/CMSE-2023 (Max, 100 KB in PDF format).
  10. Candidates are required to provide their Roll No and Final Marks in the Disclosure list of CMSE 2022/2023 (as applicable).
  11. Candidates are advised to fill in their preference of States, for postings after selection (a maximum of 10 preferences). The preference will be without prejudice to the choice and it cannot be claimed as a matter of right. However, preference will be considered subject to administrative requirements. The selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India. The states in which the vacancies exist are Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamilnadu, Telengana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
  12. Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online much before the closing date and not wait till the last date, to avoid the possibility of congestion in server to log-on etc.
