ITEP ADMISSION NOTIFICATION ADMISSION IN TO 4 YEAR INTEGRATED TEACHER EDUCATION PROGRAM (ITEP)-B.Sc. B.Ed. & B.A., B.Ed.,(Secondary) 2025-2026

Applications are invited for admissions into B.Sc. B.Ed. & B.A. B.Ed programme of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Srikakulam, Etcherla through NCET examination. The application processing fee (Non-Refundable) is Rs.1000/- for General, OBC & EWS and Rs.500/- for SC, ST, PwD applicants (to be paid online). (BRAU Srikakulam ITEP Admission Notification)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Must have studied in +2 with at least two subjects among Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for B.Sc B.Ed Programme; and History, Economics & Political Science for B.A.B.Ed Programme and qualified +2 examinations with minimum 50% of marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwD);
2. Qualified in NCET-2025 conducted by NTA.
3. Chosen Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Srikakulam, Etcherla in the NCET application form.

Note: Mere appearing in the National Common Entrance Test-2024 will not ensure admission to the 4-Year Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. programme under ITEP.

Rules of Reservation:

The rules of reservation for admission into ITEP Programme will be followed as prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Admission Procedure:

1. The candidates will be required to download the Admission Application Form from the University Website and submit the dully filled-in application (hard copy) along with the following copies of certificates directly to Dr.B.R.Ambedkar University Srikakulam Etcherla-532410. Srikakulam District Andhra Pradesh.
2. Based on the number of available seats (category-wise) and eligible candidates, the applications will be scrutinized by the Admission Committee in order of merit of the score obtained in the National Common Entrance Test (NCET)-2025.
3. In case, there is a tie of the score obtained in NCET-2025, the candidate older in age will be placed above the candidate who is younger in age. If the tie breaking criterion fails to break the tie, then, higher marks in domain specific subject of NCET-2025 will be taken for consideration.
4. Based on the NCET-2025 score, a merit list of the candidates will be displayed on the Institute Website.
5. Round-I: The list of provisionally selected candidates as per the category-wise seats will be displayed on the Institute website i.e. www.brau.edu.in as per the schedule.
6. The provisionally selected candidates during Round-I will be required to deposit their Institute Fee online as per the given schedule for confirming their admission.
7. Non-payment of the Institute Fee will be deemed as automatic withdrawal of the allotted seat. No further chance will be given in any case.
8. Round-II: The vacant seats will be displayed on the Institute website i.e. www.brau.edu.in.
9. Against the vacant seats, the list of the provisionally selected candidates will be displayed.
10. The provisionally selected candidates during Round-II will be required to deposit their Institute Fee online as per the given schedule for confirming their admission.
11. After completion of Round-II, the list of vacant seats will be displayed on the Institute Website and the Institute will conduct the Physical Spot Round.
12. Institute Fee once deposited shall not be refunded in any case.
13. Hostel facility is available for the students.
14. All the admissions are purely provisional and the University reserves the right to cancel the admission at any stage
15. LOCAL CANDIDATES: In every course of study and category (explained in the following section) 85% of the available seats are reserved in favour of the Local Candidates from the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari belonging to Andhra University area

List of Copies of Certificates to be enclosed:

1. A certificate obtained after successful completion of Grade 12 ( or equivalent stage of education such as pre-University, Intermediate etc.,) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade from a recognized Board/University.
2. Test Score Card relating to the National Common Entrance Test (NCET-2025) conducted by NTA.
3. Admit Card relating to the National Common Entrance Test (NCET-2025) conducted by NTA
4. SSC / Grade 10 Certificate for verification of Date of Birth
5. Community certificate issued by the competent authority in respect of candidates belonging to ST/SC/BC/EWS Categories, if applicable
6. Valid latest Income certificate issued by M.R.O/Tahsildar if fee concession is claimed (the validity of income certificate is four years from the date of issue) or White Ration Card (G.O.M.S.No.186, dt.26-05-2015).
7. Transfer Certificate
8. Study Certificates for the last seven years or Residence Certificate for preceding seven years of the qualifying examination to claim the reservation under local category.
9. Candidates opting for admission under NCC/Sports/CAP/PH/NSS quota shall produce relevant original certificate in addition to the above
