Cyclone Montha might cause heavy to extremely heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh between October 27 to 29, 2025. IMD has already declared *Red Alert’ in districts where the cyclone will have a major impact. Know if the Andhra Pradesh School Holiday is possible between 27 October to 29 October, 2025.
IMD has already declared ‘Red Alert’ for few districts where Cyclone Montha might have a severe impact. The Cyclone is expected to make landfall in Kakinada on October 28, which might cause extremely heavy rains in all surrounding districts. As the weather conditions are going to be extreme, district collectors shall take a decision on school holiday on October 27, 28 and 29. However, school holidays shall be announced only after assessing the rain conditions in the respective districts. If the conditions are favorable, there will not be any school holiday announcement. AP Government has already instructed the District Collectors to declare a school holiday if required.
