Shining Stars Award 2025 Winners List: 10వ తరగతి, ఇంటర్మీడియట్ లో ఉత్తమ మార్కులు సాధించిన విద్యార్థులకు ‘షైనింగ్ స్టార్స్’ పేరిట ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం అవార్డులు ప్రదానం చేయనుంది. ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రైవేట్ విద్యాసంస్థల నుండి విద్యార్ధులను అవార్డులకు ఎంపిక చేయనున్నారు. రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా ఈనెల 9న జిల్లా కలెక్టర్, జిల్లా ఇన్చార్జి మంత్రి ఆధ్వర్యంలో అవార్డుల ప్రదానోత్సవం జరుగనున్నది. ఈ మేరకు ఉత్తమ మార్కులు సాధించిన విద్యార్థులకు అవార్డులు ఇచ్చేందుకు మార్గదర్శకాలు విడుదల చేస్తూ పాఠశాల విద్యాశాఖ ఆదేశాలు జారీచేసింది. ఈ అవార్డులు డైరెక్టరేట్ ఆఫ్ స్కూల్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్, అమరావతి వారు ఎంపిక చేస్తారు. అవార్డులో 20,000 నగదు బహుమతి, మెడల్, అప్రిషియేషన్ సర్టిఫికెట్ ఇస్తారు. అవార్డుల ఎంపికకు అర్హతలు

• పదవ తరగతి: 500 మార్కులు లేదా 83.33% పైగా మార్కులు పైబడి వచ్చిన విద్యార్థులను.. ప్రతి మండలానికి 6 గురు (OC-2, BC-2, SC-1, ST-1 Boy or Girl) విద్యార్థులను ఎంపిక చేస్తారు.
• ఇంటర్మీడియట్: 830 మార్కులు పైబడి వచ్చిన విద్యార్థులు.. ప్రతి జిల్లా నుంచి 36 మందిని ఎంపిక చేస్తారు.

Shining Stars Awards :: Promoting Quality and Excellence in Education

Shining Stars Awards 2024-25 Guidelines:

i. NAME OF THE AWARD:

• The Award will be named as “Shining Stars Award.”

ii. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SELECTION OF SHINING STAR AWARDEES:

For Schools:

Those students who secured 500 marks out of 600 marks and above, i.e., equivalent to the percentage of 83.33% and above in OC, BC, SC, ST & Minority shall be considered for selection in a particular Mandal in the SSC Public Examinations of the preceding academic year covering all managements both in Government and Private. In CWsN Categories, who secured 70% marks and above shall be considered for selection in a particular District covering all managements both in Government and Private.

For Intermediate Education:

Those students who secured 830 and above marks in OC, BC, SC, ST & Minority shall be considered for selection in a particular District in Intermediate Public Examinations of the preceding academic year covering all managements both in Government and Private. In CWsN Categories, who secured 700 and above marks shall be considered for selection in a particular District covering all managements both in Government and Private.

iii. NO. OF AWARDS:

For Schools:

a. In every mandal, a total of 6 awardees will be selected from the entire Mandal from the following categories:

The each awardee will be felicitated with a Certificate, Medal and a cash award of Rs. 20,000.

b. In addition to the above, 3 students will be given Shining Stars Award for their highest score in Class X (in the preceding Academic Year) under the CWsN Category for the entire District. Each awardee will be felicitated with a Certificate, Medal and a cash award of Rs. 20,000.

For Intermediate Education:

Out of 26 Districts, from each District 36 awardees will be selected covering all managements both in Government / Private Junior Colleges in the state from MPC, BIPC, HEC, CEC/MEC and Vocational streams and in each stream consisting of SC, ST, Minority, BC, OC & CWsN categories for felicitation with Medal, Certificate and Cash Award @ Rs.20,000/ each.

iv. SELECTION OF SHINING STAR AWARDEES:

The selection list of the students shall be prepared by the Director of Government Examinations, A.P., Amaravati and Board of Intermediate Education based on the merit secured in SSC Public Examinations/ Intermediate Public Examination respectively, as per the eligibility criteria mentioned above.

v. SELECTION OF STUDENTS IN CASE OF EQUAL MARKS:

In case where multiple students have secured the same marks and percentage as specified above, all such candidates shall be considered for the awards in their respective categories.

vi. CEILING LIMIT:

The students shall be selected for Shining Stars Award irrespective of the income ceiling limit as prescribed in G.O.Ms.No.12, Higher Education (EC.I) Dept, Dated: 01.02.2005.

vii. LIMIT TO OTHER WELFARE SCHOLARSHIPS:

The receipt of the award amount need not be linked to other welfare scholarship amounts received by the candidate by virtue of their other Social/physical disadvantages, as the main objective of the scheme is to recognize the merit and to encourage continuity in their education.

viii. FELICITATION TO THE AWARDEES:

All the selected candidates shall be felicitated under Shining Stars Award program with
(a) Cash award of Rs.20,000/-
(b) Appreciation Certificate.
(c) Medal.

ix. DATE:

The Shining Stars Award Programme shall be conducted by the District Collector under the chairmanship of the District In charge Minister every year in the District Headquarters.

The Shining Stars Award Programme for the Academic Year 2024-25 will be conducted on 09-06-2025 and as per the instructions of the Government from time to time for every year.
