AP Model Schools fill up left over seats 2025-26 Instructions
The attention of all the Principals of AP Model Schools in the State is invited to the references read above, Entrance Test for admission into VI class has been conducted, instructions have been issued to prepare Selection List and Merit list considering marks scored by the candidates in the exam which was already sent to the schools’ mail ids. In addition to this as per schedule, the data of applied candidates for admission into Intermediate I year has been issued from this office and instructions were also issued to complete the first phase of admissions for the candidates who have applied online for VI class and Intermediate First Year duly following the guidelines and procedures for filling up of seats vide reference 8th cited above. Further, they are hereby instructed to fill up left over vacancies (if any) with regard to VI class admissions duly giving preference to local candidates and then non-local candidates irrespective of cut-of marks from the online applications, even then if any seats are left over, the Principals are hereby permitted to receive applications through on-line also and fill up the seats duly following instructions given earlier ensuring 100% enrolment.
Further they are instructed to fill up the 1st year Intermediate admissions 100% from online applications, if any leftover seats are available then all the Principals are hereby permitted to receive applications through of-line also and fill up the seats duly following instructions given earlier ensuring 100% enrolment. Further they are permitted to fill up left over vacancies in the AP Model Schools for classes VII to IX in the Academic year 2025-26 duly receiving offline applications and hereby instructed to give a press note in local newspapers accordingly and conduct admission test at the earliest duly following rules of reservations among the applicants at school level with the approval of District level committee and ensure 100% enrolment.
Further it is informed that the total sanctioned seats for Classes VI to Intermediate in 164 AP Model Schools for the Academic Year 2025-26 are 1,34,160 and it is noticed that there is a Gap of unfilled seats

Therefore, all the Principals of AP Model Schools in the state are hereby instructed to fill up 100% seats in all the classes i.e., VI, VII, VIII, IX duly giving wide publicity in local newspapers as news item and Intermediate utilizing the services of Teaching and Non-Teaching Staf of the school and also instructed that while taking up the admissions process, they should follow G.O.Ms.No.32 Education SE Prog.I Dept., dated:29.06.2020 scrupulously without any deviation.
There shall be no admissions in AP Model Schools without applying online.
Further the District Educational Officers are requested to give wide publicity in the local news papers as news item and also conduct meetings with MEOs and Principals and disseminate the instructions to the field functionaries to receive more number of applications and also ensure that the admission process is conducted in a smooth and transparent manner for the Second Spell as per the schedule mentioned above.
