AISSEE-2025 NOTIFICATION

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the All- India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE-2025) for admission to Class VI and Class IX in Sainik Schools/New Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2025-26. (All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination AISSEE-2025 Notification)

The schedule of All-India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE-2025) are as follows:

• Date of exam: Will be announced on the NTA website later
• Mode of exam: Pen paper (OMR Sheets based)
• Paper pattern: Multiple Choice questions
• Exam cities: 190 cities across India, as mentioned in the Information Bulletin

Eligibility for admission to Class VI:

Candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31.03.2025. Admission for Girls is open in Class VI only in all Sainik Schools. Eligibility for admission to approved New Sainik Schools is detailed in the Information Bulletin.

Eligibility for admission to Class IX:

Candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31.03.2025 and should have passed Class VIII, from a recognised school, at the time of admission. Admission for Girls is open for Class IX, subject to availability of vacancies. Age criteria is same as boys is detailed in the Information Bulletin.

• Online Submission of Application Form starting date: 24.12.2024
• Last date for submission of online application forms: 23.01.2025 (Upto 5.00 PM)
• Last date for payment of fee online: 24.01.2025 (11.50 PM).
• Correction in the particulars in Online Application form 26.01.2025 to 28.01.2025

Subject: Extension of Last Date for Submission of Online Application Form for All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2025.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in receipt of various representations from the candidates to extend the last date of submission of online application form for All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2025.

Therefore, in continuation to the Public Notice dated the 24.12.2024 regarding submission of online application form for admission to Class VI and Class IX in Sainik Schools/New Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2025-26, NTA has decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for AISSEE 2025, enabling the aspiring candidate(s) to apply. The schedule is as follows:

Note: Candidates can make Corrections in the details submitted by them in their Application Forms Online through the Correction window at https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/ during the period when the correction/editing window is made live. They are further advised to make corrections in their particulars, in their respective Online Application Form, if required, as per Annexure -1.

Note: Exam fee can be paid online either through debit/credit card or internet banking/UPI

Scheme/ duration/ medium/ syllabus of examination, list of Sainik Schools/New Sainik Schools and their tentative intake, reservation of seats, exam cities, passing requirements, important dates, etc., relating to the exam are contained in the Information Bulletin hosted on https://nta.ac.in/. https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/ . Candidates who desire to appear in the exam may read the detailed Information Bulletin for AISSEE 2025 and apply online only at  https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/ between 24.12.2024 and 23.01.2025. The exam fee is also required to be paid online through payment gateway, using debit/credit cards or internet banking.
